Originally inspired by the Ayurvedic healing system of India, Ed is trained in Naturopathic Iridology, has a BSc in Western Herbal Medicine and has been practising herbal medicine for 10 years, combining a thorough grounding in orthodox medical diagnosis and evidence based herbal medicine with the traditional energetic approaches of Ayurveda and Chinese Medicine.

In addition to practicing herbal medicine Ed is also course director in Herbal Medicine for the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London and writes regular magazine features on plant healing. A passionate plantsman Ed grows a wide variety of herbal medicines in his woodland garden in Suffolk.

 

The first consultation consists of gathering detailed information on presenting complaints as well as a patient's constitution and general health. A holistic combination of herbs will be prescribed to stimulate healing. Detailed diet and lifestyle advice will also be given and assessments using iridology may be integrated into the consultation on request.
